Radio: Mr. KABC is now Mr. K(TLK)

We await the jingles of the day--but Mr. K will have his say. One of L.A.'s most eloquent and open minded Talk-show hosts has found a new home at KTLK, 1150 on the AM dial. The rubes at KABC felt that yet another ultra right talk show host (Mark Levin) should assail the airways for an additional hour of the evening. This would have bumped our euphonious favorite to a later night spot than he desired or that his ratings warranted. The reports of an amicable parting are more pleasant than the usual acrimony attendant to such an abrupt parting of the ways. Mr. K undoubtedly knew that an open mind was not the most desired of attributes at the West Coast home of ideologue Sean Hannity.

The new format has Mr. K and his producer, Lisa Goich engaging guests and topics from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. and allowing Mr. K (See Mr. "K" unmasked, above) and his fans to indulge in the addictive "Ask Mr. K" format for which he is justly revered, from wherever he might hail.
